Keuschnigg a concept which has been running for over 4 decades in the folk music scene at home and abroad. That day came for Willy Keuschnigg in 1990. He assumed the baton and control of his father’s band to continue the Keuschnigg dynasty. As well as traditional folk music, the band’s repertoire also includes the latest  pop music, dance music, "evergreens" and  sing-along hits. 

Willy Keuschnigg played in his father’s group as a bassist and singer for 14 years and so gained a great deal of experience in many live gigs, studio recordings, TV appearances etc. He acquired knowledge and the basis of his music from a private tutor in the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

However, to continue on in the tradition of his father's music, a great deal of value is placed on quirkiness. Compositions and texts too originate from the Keuschnigg Hotel.
